Setting DNS for Mac
If you have MAC TCP:
- On the Apple Menu, Select "Control Panels"
- Select "MacTCP"
- Click the "More" button
- Replace the Name Server entries in the lower right corner
of the window the three IP addresses shown below. Important:
In the "Domain" column on lines 1, 2 and 3, type a
period. If you do not do this you will get a "Socket Error".
- . 209.56.110.10
- . 209.56.110.2
- . 165.206.53.253
- Click "OK" to save the new settings.
- Restart your computer.
If you have TCP/IP:
- On the Apple Menu, Select "Control Panels"
- Select "TCPIP"
- Remove the "Name Server addr." entries and replace
them with the ones listed below in the order shown.
- 209.56.110.10
- 209.56.110.2
- 165.206.53.253
- Save the new settings and restart your computer.
