Setting DNS for Windows 95/98


  1. Open "My Computer"
  2. Open "Control Panel"
  3. Open "Network".
  4. Select "TCP/IP" for your network interface on the list and click the "Properties" button.
  5. Click the "DNS Configuration" tab.
  6. Click the "Enable DNS" bullet
  7. Fill in the "Host" and "Domain" names. The host names must be unique witin your domain.
  8. Remove the existing DNS entries. Highlight each one and click the "Remove" button
  9. Add the new DNS entries below in the order shown. Type in each IP number, then click the "Add" button.
    • 209.56.110.10
    • 209.56.110.2
    • 165.206.53.253
  10. Click the "OK" buttons to save the new settings.
  11. Exit the Network Control Panel and restart your computer.
