Sixth Street Update
Lisa Fry shared that the administrative area of the Sixth Street facility has been cleaned. Shelves are being moved into the administrative area for storage of the items currently located in the Conference Center.
If staff would like access to the second floor of the Sixth Street facility, contact Mike Kiely, 430-8358. Staff who have offices on the second floor and want to forward their phones, will need to do so using their office phone. Contact Kiely to arrange for this access.
The Media Center is closed until further notice. All of the media resources must undergo a hepavac process, which is a special vacuum cleaner that removes fine particles.
Van delivery is temporarily suspended until further notice.
The Staff Distribution Center will be set up at the Sixth Street facility during July. Staff will be able to access materials after that time.
E-mail, Phones, Website, Servers Will Be Down
The agency’s servers, e-mail, phones, and website will be shut down sometime Friday afternoon or early evening through the weekend and possibly longer. Staff should be prepared that at anytime during the day on Friday, access may be shut off.
Employees whose homes have been affected by the flood are still in need of assistance with cleanup. Some are also in need of places to store items. If anyone is willing to help with cleanup efforts or provide storage space, please call 929-7538.
