Graphics, Print Shop, and Teacher Work Center
Tara Johannsen shared that the graphic designers have set up their computers and are working out of the 33rd Avenue facility. The Teacher Work Center is establishing a temporary location in the Grant Wood Room of the Sixth St. facility, and is not currently open to the public. The Print Shop hopes to be able to offer black and white printing capabilities later this week. Tara will set up a location for picking up printing requests at the 33rd Avenue facility.
Fry reported that the Coralville facility did not sustain any flooding damage, and neither did any employee families that work out of the Coralville facility.
A computer has been setup at the 33rd Avenue facility in Room 221 for staff who have no computer access. It is connected to a printer as well.
Volunteers are still needed to help with cleanup efforts of employee homes affected by the flood. Those interested should call 929-7538 to arrange. Also needed are airtight, waterproof tubs for storage purposes.
Updates this week will take place at 4 p.m. on Tuesday at the 33rd Avenue facility and on Wednesday at the Sixth St. facility.
