New Process for Communicating Staff Openings

To help ensure that staff have more timely and easier access to job and assignment opportunities within the Agency, a new process for communicating this information will be available beginning Monday, April 16.
Currently, employees who wish to be considered for openings in a new or different job category are to check The Bulletin Board each week for these opportunities and Contracted Staff who wish to be considered for a change in assignment (within their current job category) are to call in and check the Assignment Phone Line each week.
Electronic Listing
Beginning April 16, employees will be able to access all job and/or assignment opportunities within the Agency by checking one online posting that will be available at You may wish to bookmark this URL for regular access.  (Please note: the URL for internal staff information is not to be confused with the URL for public information.  The Agency will continue to provide employment opportunities for public information/external applications via a different URL that can be found under “Job Openings” on the home page of the Agency web site.)
New Timelines
Assignment and/or job openings will now be posted on a daily basis as they become available and each opening will be posted for at least five (5) Agency days.  This timeline supports current employees in being first considered for assignment openings before external candidates.
Employees who are interested in pursuing new opportunities within the Agency are to follow the application procedures listed for the type of opening (assignment change or new job category).  Since the posting could potentially change on a daily basis, employees interested in actively seeking other Agency opportunities are advised and encouraged to check the posting at least one time each week, on the same day of each week, in order to be certain a timeline is not missed to apply for the opening.
It is hoped this new posting process will be much easier and more user friendly for staff!  If you have questions or need more info about this, please feel free to contact Kathy Resewehr (x6748), Kim Lytle (x6703) or Jackie Schreder (x6731) in the HR Office.
