Grant Wood AEA

Mission:

To ensure success for all learners.

Grant Wood AEA Goals:

1. Increase the academic performance of all learners.

2. Increase the percentage of students who perform at the proficient level.

3. Increase student acquisition and application of 21st century skills and knowledge.

Payroll Direct Deposit Features Available to Employees

A feature of our payroll system allows for payroll statements to be viewed at any time by logging on to the Employee Self Service (ESS) site and clicking on the ‘Payroll Payment History’ tab.  Click on a specific payroll payment for a viewable and/or printable version of your statement.

Another feature of the payroll system is the option to have your payroll deposits distributed into as many as five different accounts. Various options available include allowing for specific dollar amounts or percentages of net pay to designated bank accounts each pay period.

To request direct deposit, electronic delivery notice or bank distribution changes of your pay, contact Cathy Kearns in Business Services.

Employees are encouraged to utilize direct deposit and electronic delivery notice. Going Green allows the Agency to reduce administrative costs related to payroll.

Second Floor Redesign

Members of the Organizational leadership Cohort would like to thank staff for the feedback received as part of the Second Floor Redesign. Your conversations and feedback have provided cohort members with a variety of learning opportunities.

Major themes from the input identified the desire to open up the cubicles, provide choices for workspaces that include comfortable furniture with options for collaboration as well as focus,  offer flexible options for technology, storage & scanning, and provide areas that promote wellness.

designdreams

The recommended plan is in the process of being finalized. Due to the HVAC system, no recommendations will be made for construction of rooms or walls as we have learned from our architects that doing so is cost prohibitive. The recommended plan will therefore be modest in scope and will focus on providing updated furnishings, adding more collaborative spaces, and addressing the needs for storage and technology to better enable collaboration, focus, wellness and innovation. Watch for more information as the work continues.

Through their learning experience, cohort members encourage staff to Reduce-Reuse-Recycle and purge files and equipment no longer used or needed. Extra recycle bins will be available June 2-6 to assist the process.

Join the conversation as part of the GWAEA Design Google Community, and watch upcoming issues of The Bulletin Board for more information.
