Iowa Parents Information Resource Center (Iowaparents.org)
            The Iowa Parents Information Resource Center provides support to school buildings to develop a leadership team that includes parents as full partners.  The Parent Resource Center will support the school leadership team with strategies that include parents as partners to assist the school to increase student success.  The strategies are research based.

Workplace Learning Connection (Kirkwood.edu/wlpc)
            The Workplace Learning Connection provides students and school direct support to assist with the implementation of Employability and Financial literacy skills.  The direct support to students include resource speakers, job shadows, and internships.  Support for schools include arranging field trips for teachers and teacher workplace internships.

Iowa Arts Council (state.ia.us/government/dca/iac)
            The Iowa Arts Council will provide support to building leadership teams to develop 21st Century Skills that enhance problem solving and creativity.  Schools may apply monthly for Mini Grants.  The Mini Grants may provide support to bring a variety of artists (poets, musicians, dancers, visual artists) to support developing interactive experiences for students and staff that increase 21st Century Skills.

Community Service (Susie Green, Grant Wood AEA)
            Community service learning provides numerous opportunities for students to develop multiple levels of Iowa Core skills.  The most relevant skills include Civic literacy, Literacy, and Employability.  Research based community service provides students with extensive opportunities to develop skills related to problem solving, civic engagement, original research, writing, listening and speaking.
