Strengthen Student Learning Year-To-Year Using Priority Standards
Once priority standards are determined and a year-long plan is made to teach all standards, how well do the plans align vertically? What is the progression of learning for a student from one year to the next? This workshop will focus on developing the vertical articulation of identified priority standards to form a cohesive sequence of learning across grade-levels and curricular course content. Participants will learn about the design of effective learning pathways that scaffold essential content. Assessment concepts that help monitor the evolution of student learning as they advance through the learning framework will also be addressed.
*NOTE: This session is recommended for participants who have completed the process of prioritizing standards.
